Segmentata The articulating lames on both trunk and shoulders made the Segmentata one of the most efficient and comfortable pieces of body armour. The Segmentata pictured above is not complete, the photo was taken before the last set of scales was added to the bottom. This will be corrected shortly (6/4/06). Additionally, our design is made mainly for theatrical use and therefore uses gun metal black snaps for an "easy in, easy out". The spine laces together and the size adjustments are made along the sides with lacing. thus giving it lots of dangling lace for a very rustic, utility look. The leather weight is roughly 9/10oz which gives you a good, solid feel without being overly stiff. The pauldrons articulate and are decorated with our 1" rivet-on shields. The truck has three buckle billets and five lames below the chest pieces which also articulate nicely. Our Segmentata is available in Medium 33-40", Large 40-46", Xlarge 46-50" and Black or Brown.
