War Belts
The Lord, Warrior or Crusader is never without the trusted War Belt. The extended tongue and the detailed decoration was an extravagance which proved the wearer to be a person of wealth, titles and conquests. The Dorsett House, Inc. is proud to produce these striking War Belts. We begin with a heavy weight Latigo leather which is highly waterproof, supple yet extremely durable. We add an additional 16" of tongue for the customary "knot" and decorate each version with a unique pewter design that includes a 12th century belt tip, also in pewter.
The Crusader Either to protect the devout on their arduous journey for pilgrimage or to secure the Temple of Solomon, the Crusaders were a force to be reckoned with. These devout knights are never seen without their tunic, helm, sword and trusted War Belt. B 156 - $99.95
The Tudor Rose The exquisitely detailed rose simply adds to the greatness of the Tudor line. Tales of war and intrigue follow the Tudors always but the truth of the matter is that the Tudor line will always signify strength in battle and power. B 154 - $94.95
The Noble Fleur The sigil of France and all she is capable of. The language of the courts throughout Europe was French as well as the language of love. The Noble Fleur is simple yet decorative with the Fleur de Lis accents and antique nickle spots. B 152 - $89.95
King Louis The castles of the French countryside were alive with color as well as the knights of the French King. The 8 pointed Fleur de Lis design is highly detailed and is topped off with a small conical point giving this War Belt a look acceptable for battle or court. B 153 - $99.95
The Plantagenet The building of castles and the conquest of the many tribes and cultures across Yenglunde took force and strategy and Plantagenet was the name of those who could conquer.
